Marinate 250 g chicken with turmeric and salt for 1 hour. Make a fine green paste by grinding 1/2 cup yoghurt, 4 green chillies and 1 bunch fresh coriander leaves.
Saute 1 sliced onion in oil. Add 1 tsp garam masala and 1 tsp turmeric powder. When the onions are cooked, add chicken pieces and cook covered. Remove the lid when the chicken is 3/4 th cooked. Now add the green paste and cook again for 20 minutes covered. Add small amount of water if necessary. Serve hot. Sprinkle some curry leaves.Serve hot.
