Coconut fried chicken

Marinate 1/ kg chicken pieces in salt, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 table spoon red chilli powder and turmeric powder. Heat oil and shallow fry.Add 1.5 cups of grated coconut (crush in the mixer along with 1 red chilli, 2-3 cardamom, 1 clove and 1 small piece of cinnamon), crushed red chillies (1 table spoon), 1 tsp perum jeerakam powder, coarsely chopped garlic (3-4), salt if desired and 1 bunch curry leaves. Mix well and shallow fry until chicken is crispy and coated with coconut mixture.
