Bread Baji


Trim the edges of bread slices. Make a batter with 1/2 a cup each of besan and rice flour. To this, add 1 tsp chilli powder, 1/2 tsp asafoetida, 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves, salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chopped green chillies and chopped curry leaves. Dip the bread slices in the batter and shallow fry them.
