Buttermilk biscuits



Combine 2 cups of flour, 2¼ teaspoons baking powder, 1/8 tsp baking soda, ¼ teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Add 4-5 tablespoons butter to the mixture and mix until the butter has broken into small bits. Pour ¾ cup buttermilk into flour mix. Roll out the dough into a ¾-inch thick circle. Cut the dough into 8 round portions. Keep them on a baking sheet, 2-inches apart. Brush with buttermilk and spray a pinch of sugar . Bake at for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.
